* Enrollment deposit is 15% of total tuition per student. Without an enrollment deposit paid, the student may be moved to the waitlist.

** Tuition and Deposit for each subsequent year will be determined by the Governing Board by December.

It is the heart of the Lafayette Academy Governing Board to keep tuition, deposit, and fees as affordable as possible while still maintaining financial responsibility.  Our hope is that no family will avoid enrollment due to our tuition and related costs. Lafayette provides financial assistance and scholarships for families who desire a classical education and have a true financial need. Please contact our Admissions department for instructions if you are interested in applying for aid.

Enrollment and Discount Information

Application and Re-enrollment for Returning Families:

  • Re-enrollment opens on January 22, 2024.
  • Enrollment deposit is 15% of total tuition
  • Returning families must re-enroll by February 1, 2024, or be moved to the waitlist if the desired class fills
  • Enrollment deposit due at the time of re-enrollment and is non-refundable
  • Tuition covers book and curriculum material costs
  • Overnight domestic and international field trip costs not included in tuition costs

Application and Enrollment for New Families:

  • Enrollment opens February 1, 2024
  • Applications will be reviewed in the order received. You may apply prior to enrollment opening.
  • Enrollment deposit is 15% of total tuition
  • Administration will review each application upon submittal
  • The enrollment deposit is due at the time of acceptance and is non-refundable
  • Tuition covers book and curriculum material costs
  • Overnight domestic and international field trip costs not included in tuition costs

Waiting List:

Applications must be received, including the Application Fee, in order to complete the Application process or be added to the waiting list. Available spots will be offered to families in the order applications were received. Families who are offered a spot but do not submit the Enrollment Deposit within 48 hours of an opening will forfeit their place on the waiting list, and the next family on the waiting list will be contacted.

Tuition Payments:

  • Tuition payments for the school year begin July 1 with the last payment on April 1.
  • Lafayette Academy offers several options regarding payment of tuition:
    • Monthly payment plan (10 months – invoices sent via FACTS)
    • Quarterly payment plan (payments due July 1, October 1, January 1, and April 1)
    • Semi-annual payment plan (payments due July 1 and January 1)
    • Annual payment plan (2% discount if paid in full by June 1st)

Discounts will be offered as outlined below:

  • 2% discount on tuition paid in-full by July 1st

Multiple Student Discounts:

  • 5% discount on tuition for second child enrolled
  • 10% discount on tuition for third child enrolled
  • 15% discount on tuition for fourth and subsequent children enrolled
No discount will be applied if financial aid is awarded

Payment Requirements:

Once a child is enrolled at Lafayette Academy and the academic year has begun, tuition must be paid for the entire year in which the student is in attendance, even if the student is un-enrolled for any reason.  *See Enrollment Agreement.
