Lafayette Academy is a K-12 private classical school located west of St. Louis in St. Charles County, Missouri.

The school’s programming is directed towards students who seek a rigorous education and stand ready to do their part, work hard, and earn their own education. Our teachers are equipped and ready to support them in this effort.

Teachers are hired based upon their mastery of academic disciplines and the ability to convey knowledge to young people. Candidates interested in employment should have a solid command of the classroom, and be able to nurture excellent character in our students. Certification is neither required nor preferred. We are dedicated to classical education and promoting superior educational results. We are supported by Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan. Candidates must both understand and support the mission and philosophy of classical education and of Lafayette Academy.
